We love being able to offer virtual psychotherapy and counseling to families all over the country because it results in mental health treatment that is accessible, convenient, and adaptable to the unique needs and schedules of children, teens, young adults, parents, and families.

Accessibility for Busy Kids
Our pediatric patients at Bluebird often face time constraints due to busy schedules, rigorous academic pursuits, and extracurriculars. Imagine a world where your child is able to meet with a pediatric specialist at a time that easily fits into their routine and no one needs to sacrifice beloved activities or time with friends (or even deal with rush hour): enter virtual therapy.
For our kids and teens who have professional commitments--including those engaged in athletic and career pursuits, we often collaborate with schools, trainers/athletic programs, and employers to creatively find appointment times that work with their schedule.

Flexibility For Busy Parents

Many of our parents at Bluebird have high level careers with limited availability to physically make it to therapy appointments during daytime hours. Many of our parents often travel for work or lifestyle reasons and live or some spend time in a different state from their child.
Virtual care with one of our psychologists will allow you to easily stay connected with us from anywhere. Trust me--we meet with parents all over the place, from busy ER shifts to mountain tops and everywhere in between.

Continuity of Care

Bluebird families tend to be on the go! Many of our patients have homes in multiple states, travel for summer internships, or go out of state for university. Because we are licensed in 43 states--your child won't have to find a new psychologist when they cross states lines. They will be able to maintain a consistent therapeutic relationship and avoid disruptions to treatment and support.

Comfort and Privacy

Virtual therapy offers a unique sense of privacy and comfort, as our patients can attend sessions from the safety and familiarity of their own space. For some, this extra comfort can reduce feelings of anxiety or discomfort that may come from attending in-person therapy, particularly for those who are new to therapy or dealing with sensitive issues.

Access to Specialized Care
Virtual therapy means that you are able to access our team of specialized mental health professionals from anywhere. This broadens the range of care options for our families who might not have access to locals experts but need support dealing with specific challenges like anxiety, family discord, behavioral challenges, depression, and chronic illness (e.g,. diabetes, chronic pain conditions).
